A short distance from the A828 on the quiet loop road around the Loch we are idealy situated to allow you to expore by walking, cycling or by car. Only 14 miles from Oban, 30 miles from Fort William and with so much just on your doorstep like the shore below the site with fascinating marine plant and wild life.

Loch Creran, a sea loch and a Marine Special Area of Conservation, was only 12,000 years ago occupied by a glacier. You can see some of the weird and wonderful world of its serpulid reefs and marine life at the Sea Life Centre in Barcaldine. A Loch Creran Guide can be downloaded from Argyll & Bute Council.
