Site Description

Newton Grove is on the edge of the beautiful village of South Newington in North Oxfordshire (north Cotswolds) and we are surrounded by open countryside. South Newington retains the character of a small, thriving village. Part of the village lies in a conservation area. The church is late Norman and is one of only fifteen churches in England to be dedicated to St Peter ad Vincula. The church has become famous for the well preserved wall paintings which are nationally important.
Our site is private, secluded and surrounded by mature native trees, shrubs and hedges on all sides, a haven for wildlife. The site has had a variety of wildlife visit from the more common rabbits, foxes, partridge, pheasants, jays, sparrow hawks, kestrels, buzzards to red kite, roe and muntjac deer, stoats and weasels. The site including the wooded areas extends to 1.8 acres of which the maintained grassed pitching area is 0.8 acres, this allows spacious non-designated pitches. We are away from busy roads and no one resides on the site. We are open from Easter 31st October. We are in the Caravan Club “Sites Directory 2015/2016” on page 436, entry no: 1349. Please use our website Google location map for the correct location. We are located halfway between Chipping Norton and Banbury - 6.3m SW from Banbury just off the A361
The Village offers a network of footpaths for walkers, fishing at local lakes, and a freehouse in the village also offering meals. Newton Grove is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful villages and historic towns of North Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds with numerous leisure and cultural activities to be found in Chipping Norton, Banbury and further afield in Oxford and Stratford upon Avon.
We look forward to welcoming you to our CL. If you have any questions send a message from the contact page on our website www.newtongrove.co.uk/contact-us or drop an email to newton.grove@btconnect.com
