Site Description

Blagdon Farm certified location caravan site is set in the peaceful Devon countryside within a few minutes of the stunning South West coast. The CL site is within a short walk of our own 1.5 acre coarse fishing lake which is stocked with Carp, Rudd, Roach, Golden Tench, Golden Orfe and Perch.
There are 4 grass pitches and a hard standing all with electric hook up and plenty of space for awnings. There is a chemical/grey waste disposal point and mains water.
We have fully accessible showers and CL guests have free use of all the facilities at Blagdon Farm including an indoor heated swimming pool (open April end September), a licensed bar which is open 3-4 nights a week, a games room equipped with pool table, table tennis, darts, mini table soccer, x-box, and a book /games library. Set in 10 acres there is plenty of outside space to enjoy including our woodland walk, orchard playing field for ball games and a special dog walk field which is adjacent to the site.

Site Charges

1st November 31st March 2017 £16 per night or £105 per week
1st April 30th June 2017 - £20 per night or £130 per week
1st July 31st August 2017 - £22 per night or £140 per week
1st September 31st October 2017 - £20 per night or £140 per week
1st November 2017 31st March 2018 - £17 per night or £105 per week

Prices include electric hook-up, awning, dogs and up to 4 occupants. If there are more than 4 occupants then each additional person will be charged at £3 per night or £18 per week.
If you want to bring an additional vehicle please notify us in advance because it will need to be parked in the car park and there will be a charge of £2 per overnight.

Local Attractions

Blagdon Farm is close to the Devon/Cornwall border, so it’s an ideal base to explore both counties. Nearby coastal resorts include Bude, Widemouth Bay , Rock and Padstow in Cornwall, or journey along the North Devon coast and visit Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Lynton, Porlock, and Minehead. Within easy reach of both Exmoor and Dartmoor there is a wealth of natural scenery to enjoy, and a wide variety of National Trust and English Heritatge properties to visit as well as gardens such as RHS Rosemoor at Great Torrington.
For people looking for more active breaks there are great surfing beaches at Boneyards, Croyde, and Down End Point. A variety of watersports are on offer at Roadford Lake and there are leisure centres at Holsworthy, Bude and Launceston. If you love golf there are clubs at Holsworthy, Bude, Launceston, and St. Mellion.
Enjoy a bike ride or walk along the Tarka or Camel Trail, and from Holsworthy you can join the National Cycle Network route no. 3 which takes you North to Hatherleigh and South to Cornwall. Other cycle routes include the Eggesford Forest off-road route, the Holsworthy to Black Torrington ride, the West Country Way and the forest cycle track around Roadford Lake.
As well as our own 1.5 acre coarse fishing lake there are several excellent fishing locations nearby including Anglers Paradise, Simpson Valley and Higher Shorston. Sea Angling can be arranged by boat from ports including Clovelly and Bude.
Steam Buffs will be spoilt for choice because there are steam railways at Launceston, Bodmin, Okehampton and Lappa Valley. A little further afield you can visit the working beam engine at Levant Mine on the stunning North Cornish near St. Just.
