Site Description

Quiet caravan park with spectacular views over the countryside, situated on a working farm in Consett,Co. Durham. Currently comprises 3 static vans and 5 pitches available for touring vans on hard-standings with electric hook-ups. Clean water from standpipe and waste diposal facilities on site. Small bunkhouse/hostel also on site which caters for up to 12 people. Tearoom located next to caravans open daily (except Tuesdays) from 9am - 4pm.

Site Charges

Currently £11 per pitch per night -electricity included.
Static caravans and Bunkhouse charges available on request.

Local Attractions

Situated on the Lydgetts junction approximately 100m from the C2C route, an ideal location from which to explore NCN routes 7 and 14.
Nearby attractions: fishing; Beamish Museum; shopping in Newcastle, historic Durham, Hexham and the Metro Centre and close to moorland and Hadrian's Wall.Consett town centre is approximately 1 mile away and offers a choice of supermarkets, take-aways, fast food outlets, pubs and nightclubs. There is also a good range of friendly country pubs in the nearby area.
